Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan, according to former India wicketkeeper Saba Karim, lack Rishabh Pant’s X factor.

Following the legendary MSDhoni’s retirement, Pant has established himself as India’s top wicketkeeper-batter in Test and ODI matches, while Dinesh Karthik is vying for a berth in the shorter format.

Samson and Kishan, on the other hand, have yet to achieve success at the highest level. While Pant has already left for Australia with the national team in preparation for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, the two of them are currently playing the ODI series against South Africa at home.

“Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan would be surpassed by Rishabh Pant in my opinion. These two lack the “X factor” that Rishabh Pant possesses. Samson is a fantastic batsman who can keep his position on the team. Ishan Kishan has dropped in the standings because he failed to take advantage of his opportunities. In light of that, Pant is my top pick for both white-ball and red-ball cricket,”
